2) Rose Water Cardamom
Iced Coffee
If you have a discerning palate, you are sure to adore the rose
water cardamom iced coffee. It’s a little bit sweet, lightly spiced, and offers
delicate floral notes guaranteed to delight your taste buds.
The first step is to create rose syrup by adding ¾ cup sugar, 2
tablespoons dried rose petals, and 1 cup water in a pot. Bring the mixture to a
boil, then let it simmer until the contents reduce by one quarter volume.
Strain and cool the syrup before use, or else it will melt your drink. You can
even store the syrup in your refrigerator for a couple of months.
Now for the drink itself… Add one-half teaspoon cardamom powder
to 1 cup of milk (your choice). Mix well. In a separate serving glass,
add your single Caffè di Artisan luxury coffee pod, adding 1 cup ice on top.
Next, add 2 tablespoons rose syrup over the ice, as well as the mixture from
before. Add a rose petal or two to the glass for an expert presentation.
3) Nutella Blended
Frozen Coffee
Since gourmet coffee often contains chocolatey and nutty flavour
notes, it pair quite well with Nutella, a chocolate and hazelnut spread. This
is the perfect drink for a coffee drinkers with a sweet
tooth.
In a large blender, add 1 cup soy milk, 1 Caffè di Artisan
gourmet coffee pod, a half teaspoon vanilla extract, 4 teaspoons Nutella, 1
tablespoon sugar, and 1 ice cube. Blend until the mixture has reached a smooth
and even consistency.
Add a little chocolate syrup or Nutella to the sides of the cup
for presentation. Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder or
a single piece of dark chocolate.
4) Iced Ube Horchata
Lattè
Ube is a trendy flavour that is popping up everywhere. But what
is ube? Ube, pronounced oo-bae, is a purple
sweet potato from the Philippines. It’s sweet, full of antioxidants, and
delightfully purple in colour. When added to this horchata coffee drink, it
really brings the flavours together.
Here’s how to make iced ube horchata lattes for
three to four people.
Add 16 ounces each of almond milk, coconut milk, and rice milk
to a large pitcher. Whisk vigorously while sprinkling in 2 teaspoons cinnamon
and ¼ cup sugar. The mixture should be smooth and even (i.e. no lumps or clumps
of sugar). Next, add 3 teaspoons ube extract and stir well. Chill the pitch of
liquid in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
In serving glasses, add ample ice. Then pour the pitcher into
the glasses leaving a little room on top for your single coffee pod of Caffè di
Artisan espresso. Serve and enjoy!
